• Noy Rotbart

  Co-founder & CEO

  

  Noy Rotbart is a co-founder of Churney. He previously served prior as a data science manager at Liveintent, architect at innovation dept. of Nykredit, and lead data engineer at Save the Children. Noy holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the university of Copenhagen.

• Brian Brost

  Co-founder & CTO

  

  Brian has a PhD in computer science from the University of Copenhagen, where his research focused on the intersection between applied machine learning and causal inference. Before Churney, he worked as a research scientist at Spotify, where he initiated Spotify's efforts to maximize the impact of promotional campaigns using causal machine learning.

• Casper Hansen

  Co-founder

  

  Casper holds a PhD in computer science from the University of Copenhagen. His work has centered around machine learning with a particular focus on user modeling and recommender systems, on which he has co-authored more than 25 publications and two US patents. Aside from research, he has worked as an ML engineer and consultant in various large national institutions and an AI startup.

• Christian Hansen

  Co-founder

  

  Christian has a PhD in computer science from the University of Copenhagen about machine learning for sequential data modeling applied to search and recommender systems, which has resulted in dozens of publications and more than 600 citations. He has done data science consulting and worked in multiple startups, where he was a co-inventor of different patents on machine learning for recommender systems.

• Benjamin Zeymer Christoffersen

  Data Scientist

  

  Benjamin Christoffersen is a data Scientist at Churney working mainly with trials and treatment effect estimation. He has Ph.D. in statistics from Copenhagen Business School and he has worked as a postdoc at Karolinska Institutet and KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm.

• Jonas Dahlbæk

  Head of Data Engineering

  

  Jonas is the Head of Data Engineering at Churney. He previously worked as data engineering team lead at Liveintent. Jonas holds a PhD in mathematical physics from Aarhus University.

• Rohit Sharma

  Lead Front-end Engineer

  

  Rohit works with developing data visualizations and data-driven applications. He has a background in Interaction Design from CIID and IIT Guwahati. Before Churney, he worked at Datarobot and Leapcraft.

• Petru Birzu

  Front-end Engineer

  

  Petru is a software engineer at Churney. In his previous role, he was part of an engineering team at Trustpilot. Petru has a Web Development BA from Copenhagen School of Design and Technology.

• Pavel Toporcea

  Sales Development Representative

  

  Pavel has a M.Sc in Behavioral Economics from University of Bucharest. He has previously worked at Q4, Fluxy and KidsFinance.

  Mathias is a student worker and is getting his MSc in statistics at the University of Copenhagen. He has previously worked in e-commerce AndLight and as a teaching assistant at his university.

  Nichlas is a machine learning engineer at Churney. He has previously worked as a software engineer in AI startups and as an instructor in several master courses at the University of Copenhagen. Nichlas obtained his MSc in Computer Science from the University of Copenhagen.
